The Dinky Volkswagen. Introduced in February 1956 in green and grey colours and illustrated on the back cover of Meccano magazine that month. Shown in Dinky catalogue No 5 May 1969 for 3/9. The rare South African version is sage green. The original price was 2/6 . It was available in green, blue or grey or blue finish at 1:46 scale. Released as Dinky 181 in 1956 withdrawn as Dinky 181 in 1969.
