The Matchbox Mercedes Truck. Had an orange coloured plastic load cover. This was a transitional model available with both regular and Superfast wheels. Shown in the 1969 matchbox catalogue for 2/4. The original price was 2/- . It was available in green finish at 1:87 scale. Released as Matchbox 1E in 1968 withdrawn as Matchbox 1E in 1972.
