The Dinky Armoured personnel Carrier. Alvis 'Scaracen' released February 1955 with a price of 4/6, In March 1958 it was advertised in meccano Magazine for 4/2. Advertised in the July 1958 Meccano Magazine for 3/9. Shown on the February 1961 Dinky price list still for 3/9. The Armoured Personnel Carrier remained in production until 1962 when it made its last catalogue appearance in May 1962 with a price of 4/-. The plain box depicted was issued between February 1955 and January 1956. In June 1959 it was advertised in Meccano Magazine for 3/8. The original price was 4/6 . It was available in olive drab finish. Released as Dinky 676 in 1955 withdrawn as Dinky 676 in 1962.
