The trailer was available separately for 1/6. based on a Lansing Bagnall TD200 diesel engined tractor. featured in the June 1960 Meccano Magazine.
Lansing Bagnall manufactured two Industrial tractor models TODR2 - TD200 and TODR3 on which this model was based.They were both fitted with a ENFIELD 85 series 2 cylinder horizontally opposed air cooled diesel engine.
In 1943, Lansing Bagnall was bought out of bankruptcy for £3,000. Now part of the Linde AG group, Lansing Bagnall manufactured the diesel powered tractor and trailer at small workshops in London’s Mortlake and Isleworth districts, before moving to Basingstoke in 1949. At their Merthyr Tydfil plant, Lansing Bagnall built the larger, 5-8 ton, side-loaders and container handling vehicles.
The original price was 2/9 . It was available in maroon finish at 00 scale. Released as Dinky Dublo 076 in 1960 withdrawn as Dinky Dublo 076 in 1964.
